Oh lovely evening of sushi, Mad Men, crow pose, invitation designing and doodle, you are so lovely indeed. Goodnight.

I’ve been living near Tenleytown for a month now. Please note: this is not to be confused with “Tinseltown” as several of you have been calling it. It is, nonetheless, a magical place where tiny elvish American University students roam and make me feel like a giant old lady. (They are so young… SO young.) It is home to “Hot Yoga” as well as “Angelico’s Pizza”— so, ample calorie-cancelling-out opportunities there. And it offers a mere 1,569,034 feet escalator ride down to the red line metro, which takes me straight to Dupont Circle. Tenleytown, you are swell.
So… this happened… again. Chris and I found a deal for 40 percent off Georgetown Cupcakes about two weeks ago. And we pre-ordered these suckers. Chocolate ganache, maple, mocha, sweet delicious Heaven. My first thought: YESYESYESYESYES. Second thought: Ok, this nasty awesomeness is going to need to stop really soon, or I’m literally going to turn into a cupcake. Final thought: It’s totally fine because this cupcake consumption is balanced by the amount I walk each day to get to the bus/metro… yep. We’re good.
